The association funds science conferences, publishes more than 40 000 science journals and papers.

ACM Press publishes Journal of the ACM (JACM) and journals for computer specialists and its digital library contains huge archive of journals, papers and conference records. ACM conducts different computer science events, for example ICPC and chess match between Garry Casparov and IBM Deep Blue Computer.
